Reducing building energy use to maximize savings is a top goal of the Houston Climate Action Plan. But in under-resourced communities, families devote up to three times more of their household income to energy bills than in other parts of the community.

Dana Harmon, Jarrett Simon, and Peter Kelly-Detwiler will address the issue of energy poverty and explore available policy and technology solutions that can help families save on energy bills and carbon emissions.
