When we create financial plans, we often assume that everything will go exactly as expected. While it’s possible that it will, more often than not, it doesn’t. Life is full of surprises—both good and bad—and it’s impossible to predict exactly how things will turn out. The good news is that you don’t need a crystal ball to plan for your financial future.

• Understand what a financial emergency is and how to prepare for it
• Understand the importance of having an emergency savings plan
• Learn tools and resources to develop and implement an emergency savings strategy
• Develop skills to protect themselves during times of financial emergency or uncertainty
