Whether you are a start-up or deciding to change your formation – attend the Zoom Formation Lab meeting at the WBEA-WBC with Attorney Shakeatha Davis.  You’ll spend roughly 2 hours completing your Limited Liability Company form from start to finish!  Attorney Davis will guide attendees through the Secretary Of State’s 205 Form to get your business properly registered. Leave with completed formation paperwork and confidence that your business is correctly prepared:

Shakeatha Davis is an attorney, speaker, and multi-passionate entrepreneur. She currently serves as Owner and Principal Attorney for the minority woman owned law firm, the S. Davis Law Group PLLC and Owner of ICreate Coworking Business Hub™ . Her practice areas include Business Law, Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law. Ms. Davis is an expert at assisting small business owners with business advisement and development which she is extremely passionate about. In addition to running a full time law practice, Attorney Davis is an instructor at Avant Media Institute where she teaches business law.

Shakeatha recently partnered with the WBEA-Women’s Business Center (WBC) as a mastermind legal counselor. Ms. Davis earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude from Thurgood Marshall School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Music and English from Xavier University of Louisiana.

Ms. Davis was recently accepted into membership in the Top 40 Under 40 for Black Lawyers Associations Top 40 Under 40 in Business for the Women’s Association of Attorneys in Business Law. She also was recently appointed Vice Chair of the Copyright and Social Media Committee for the American Bar Association. Lastly, Attorney Davis is a member of the Texas State Bar, American Bar Association, Houston Bar Association, Houston Intellectual Property Lawyers Association and the Houston Lawyers Association.
