Participants will walk away with an understanding of the TRS program!\n\n\nPLEASE NOTE: THIS EVENT IS IN PERSON IN HOUSTON\, TEXAS. \n \nJoin us for an exciting in-person event in Houston\, Texas for Certified to Shine: Your Guide to Texas Rising Star Certification\, where we will review the history of the Texas Rising Star Program. Participants will gain a thorough knowledge of measures relating to the education\, experience\, and training of all staff including directors. Participants will walk away from this session with a complete understanding of the TRS program and staff qualifications. \nThis program is a high-impact initiative that offers step-by-step guidance in completing the Texas Rising Star Certification. Childcare providers will learn how to deal with the high cost of care by accessing your current business model; identifying cost-saving strategies for your center; accessing revenue opportunities through contracts and small business loans; how to hire and retain staff; and build client loyalty and retention. \n \n**LIGHT BREAKFAST SNACKS AND LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED.** \n \nModule 1 – Introduction to Texas Rising Star/ Category 1-Director and Staff \nQualifications Training \nWe will review the history of the Texas Rising Star Program.
