We invite you to be a part of this vision by participating in this annual opportunity to develop systemic and transformative solutions for Houston – solutions that are rooted in local communities so that they are as diverse as Houston\, and work for ALL of Houston. \n \nWhy Join a Hackathon? \n\nTo make a difference in their community\nTo learn new skills or work on real problems\nTo meet other cool people who care about the same things\nTo turn ideas into action in just a weekend\nTo collaborate with local government\, nonprofits\, and startups\nTo challenge themselves and think creatively\nAnd for a lot of people\, it’s just fun! Like summer camp for ideas and action.\n\n \nWe invite all people who want to make a difference in our region to join us at the annual Houston Hackathon!
