“Russia’s War Will Leave Scars on World Economies” w/ the Dallas Fed

June 22 @ 12:00 - 13:30 CDT

USAEE invites you to “Russia’s War on Ukraine Will Leave Scars on U.S., World Economies” with Enrique Martinez-Garcia, PhD

The Houston Chapter of the United States Association for Energy Economics (USAEE) cordially invites you to join us for lunch at the Briar Club of Houston on Wednesday, June 22nd, 2022.

Understanding the near-to-medium-term outlook for energy requires that we have an understanding of the shifting global macroeconomic landscape and outlook. Dr. Garcia will be sharing his expert view on how the global economic outlook has been (and will continue to be) affected by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine for years to come. We expect this will generate a lot of back and forth discussion!

Topic: “Russia’s War on Ukraine will leave scars on U.S. and World Economies

Speakers:  Enrique Martinez-Garcia, Senior Research Economist and Advisor at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas

Enrique Martínez-García, a native of Novelda, Spain, is a senior research economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. His main research interests lie in the fields of international macroeconomics and finance, monetary economics and applied econometrics.
