Join us to learn about AI, Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), and what it means for our future.

Have you ever wondered what will happen if Artificial Intelligence (AI) reaches full human capabilities, and how soon that day may come? So have we! Join this Brown Bag Lunch, to learn about the current science behind AI, where it’s headed, the kinds of risks it entails, and the opportunities it presents.

Wyatt Tessari L’Allié is an author, engineer, and speaker with a background in politics and climate activism. Backed by an Effective Altruism Long Term Future Fund grant, he does advocacy and community building to make Canada a champion on the issue of AGI governance and safety. Wyatt will make the case that human-level AI may be the biggest event in our history, and what we can do about it starting today.

Brown Bag Lunches are Impact Hub Ottawa’s weekly lunch & learns led by Hubbers, for members and non-members alike. Topics vary each week, but you’re always sure to learn something new!
