
LPI Skyfest: Venus and Volcanism
FREE EVENT: The Lunar and Planetary Institute (http://www.lpi.usra.edu/), in partnership with the Johnson Space Center Astronomy Society (http://jscas.net/) (JCSAS), hosts a special “SkyFest” called “Venus and Volcanism.”
“Come join us for hands-on activities about the hottest planet in the solar system, and the small, huge, and unique volcanoes that can be found on Earth and other worlds!”
All ages are welcome to this FREE event

SkyFest (http://www.lpi.usra.edu/education/skyFest/) is open to explorers of all ages, and includes hands-on activities as well as viewing through telescopes (weather permitting). Visitors can talk to people who work in the space sciences and learn how they can pursue such a career.
All ages welcome! (Children must be accompanied by adults.)
