National Space Society

This month only the Citizen Science meetup will be held on the second Thursday of the month, January 9th. The change is due to the fact that the first Thursday is the day after New Years. The speaker will be Nathan Price.
Nathan is NSS North Houston Space Society President and Founder. Nathan works for a software company but has a lifelong passion for space exploration. He has attended space conferences including the International Astronautical Congress (IAC), New Worlds Conference (in Austin, TX), and International Space Development Conference (ISDC). He has experienced weightlessness on a ZERO-G flight. He dreams of the day that humanity branches out into the stars.

The National Space Society has the vision of “People living and working in thriving communities beyond the Earth, and the use of the vast resources of space for the dramatic betterment of humanity.” And the North Houston Space Society supports this vision by community engagement through our monthly meetings which feature engineers, scientists, architects, students, lawyers, reporters, and other people that are working in space-related fields. We are looking to educate and excite everyday people about space. And are exploring ways to get hands-on involvement with citizen science projects.
