Preparing Students for Life After High School
Explore the latest research from Houston and across Texas on how to best support students for success after graduation.
Agenda
- Informative research: Hear findings from the Kinder Institute’s Houston Education Research Consortium on student postsecondary readiness and workforce transitions
- Collaborative discussions: Engage with peers across education and nonprofit sectors on how to incorporate these findings into your own programs
- Resource fair: Network with local organizations offering workforce preparation and postsecondary pathway programs to nonprofits, school districts and students
Organizations involved in postsecondary preparation (e.g., workforce preparation, college readiness, or career or college counseling) interested in hosting a table at the resource fair should contact Erin Baumgartner at [email protected].
