Come learn and listen about how local businesses are serving a higher purpose beyond just making a profit and giving back to the community.
Conscious Capitalism is a business philosophy that emphasizes the idea that businesses can and should serve a higher purpose beyond just making a profit. It aims to create a more sustainable, equitable, and fulfilling form of capitalism that benefits everyone, not just a select few.
The philosophy of Conscious Capitalism is based on four key pillars:
Higher Purpose: Conscious businesses have a purpose beyond profit that guides their decisions and actions. This higher purpose inspires and motivates all stakeholders, including employees, customers, suppliers, and investors.
Stakeholder Orientation: Conscious businesses recognize and embrace the interdependence of all stakeholders, not just shareholders. They strive to create value for all stakeholders, including employees, customers, suppliers, communities, and the environment.
Conscious Leadership: Conscious leaders are driven by a sense of purpose and a commitment to the well-being of all stakeholders. They are mindful, compassionate, and authentic, and they inspire and empower their teams to achieve their full potential.
Conscious Culture: Conscious businesses create a culture of trust, transparency, and collaboration that fosters innovation, creativity, and growth. They promote a sense of belonging and meaning for all stakeholders and align their values with their actions.
