This year’s challenge focuses on the transformative use of drones in:
🌱 Agriculture – from precision farming to livestock tracking
🏙️ Green Infrastructure – from renewable energy to sustainable construction
🌍 Climate Action – from environmental monitoring to reforestation
The challenge is implemented by Impact Hub Berlin, GIZ, the Smart Africa Alliance (SAA) and AUDA-NEPAD. It aims to support African innovators to ideate, incubate, and implement drone-based solutions that are impactful and scalable. The winning solution will receive €50,000 and be implemented in Rwanda or Côte d’Ivoire, two countries with vibrant drone ecosystems and strong demand for agriculture and climate solutions.
