Learn about the tools and methods you can use to combat isolation and burnout from remote work.

Remote Work has became a hot topic in the last 2 years, and its pros and cons are becoming more clear. There are tools, methods and rituals that we can implement to make the most of it – and that’s what this Brown Bag Lunch is about. We’ll learn about successful practices that can help you with isolation, communications, and burnout.

Gabriela De Luca has been working remotely since 2013 with different industries and companies, including Shopify, Andela and Round Pegs and is Impact Hub Ottawa’s Remote Work, People & Culture coach. Throughout these years, she has used tools and has developed methods and rituals that keep the human connection within the virtual environment. She has a bachelor’s degree in Business, an MSc in HR and an MSc in Philosophy of Human Sciences.

Brown Bag Lunches are Impact Hub Ottawa’s weekly lunch & learns led by Hubbers, for members and non-members alike. Topics vary each week, but you’re always sure to learn something new!
