Learn how to navigate a world that’s increasingly reliant on Artificial General Intelligence (AGI).

Are you curious about the economic and environmental implications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) reaching full human capabilities? So are we! Join this Brown Bag Lunch, to learn about the current science behind AI, where it’s headed, the kinds of risks it entails, and the opportunities it presents.

Wyatt Tessari L’Allié has been working as an AGI governance advocate through his own business. Working with the Effective Altruism Long Term Future Fund, Wyatt pushes for advocacy and community building to make Canada a champion on the issue of AGI. With a background in politics and climate activism, Wyatt will make the case that AGI reaching human capabilities may be the biggest event in human history, which should be addressed through politics, safety and governance. He has a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Brown Bag Lunches are Impact Hub Ottawa’s weekly lunch & learns led by Hubbers, for members and non-members alike. Topics vary each week, but you’re always sure to learn something new!
